He he.
This is a question I've received a couple times and haven't answered. (My apologies.)
As in: read pages 8-ff.
Ahem.
This was probably a poor choice of abbreviation on my part. Allow me to explain my history so as to put this in context. Once upon a time, I went to seminary. If any of you have gone to Bible college or seminary, you may already recognize this abbreviation. I picked it up there, and I've used it ever since. I used it here because it is my habit and I didn't realize until recently that...it is an odd habit!
In a Bible class, if you want to explain that you read all the follows to the end of the chapter, you put ff. So you might tell your class to read Romans 7:7-ff. I've also seen some teachers write it like this: Romans 7:7ff.
Either way, the meaning is the same: read to the end of the chapter.
Now, obviously Bob Books don't have chapters, but when I start posting the lessons for the Treadwell Primer, this abbreviation will really come in handy. (Or, at least, I like to think so.) It will truly mean to the end of the chapter (well, story, but I maintain).
All of this is to say: in regard to our purposes here, ff means "and all that follows" or "to the end" or something along these lines.
